Consider a casino-hotel. From Atlantic City to Las Vegas, it's the slow season till the week before New Year's. Rates are among the year's lowest, rooms are plentiful, restaurants abound, and nightlife sizzles. Best of all: No relatives... except other people's. And they're avoiding their own family gatherings!
