The week between Christmas and New Year's is one of the most exciting times of year to visit New York City.
From the glittering store windows along Fifth Avenue to the giant tree in Rockefeller Center to the illuminated Waterford crystal ball in Times Square that will announce to the world 2012 has begun, there's no place more romantic than New York at New Year's.
